How to care for your Luxora London Jewellery

We recommend that you store your jewellery in a safe, dry place when engaging in the following activities:

Showering, bathing or swimming in pools, hot tubs and the ocean
Using lotion, sunscreen, hair products, fragrances and other cosmetics
Exercising at the gym or during contact sports
Preparing meals
Household and outdoor chores

Sterling silver is made up of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent of other metals that form an alloy. Some of those other metals, primarily copper, can cause 925 sterling silver items to OXIDISE/TARNISH and reveal the under layer over time when exposed to salty air, chlorine water, sulphur, humidity, perspiration, cosmetics, household bleach and other strong chemicals. This is classed as wear and tear and is NOT a fault with the item. To extend the life of your jewellery, we recommend storing in our Luxora London box/pouch provided with your purchase when not in use.

AGAIN the jewellery must not come into contact with any chemicals (as listed above) as this can change the metals/plating colour. This would not be classed as faulty as it has not been cared for following the above instructions given.

Cleaning Guide:

We recommend you frequently clean your jewellery pieces with a jewellery polishing cloth to remove any built up residue to maintain its original, lustrous finish. If your stones do become cloudy due to a built up residue, wash your jewellery pieces in lukewarm water and soap, then gently scrub with a soft bristle brush.

IMPORTANT - It is the customers responsibility to be aware of any allergies they may have to any kinds of metals prior to making a purchase. Although extremely rare, some people are allergic to the metals that is used in jewellery making. If you have sensitive skin we advise you not to purchase any jewellery as there is no way for us to know the medical history of our customers. Luxora London will not be held liable for any allergic reactions that may occur as a result of wearing our jewellery.
